whats some creative ideas for a slab pot in ceramics class?

In my ceramics class the assignment is to make a clay slab pot using 3 or more slabs, it also has to be at least 12 inches tall. I want to do something really cool and creative, any ideas. oh and we also have to incorporate some sort of texture.

    The lid comes off and leaves on it to get some leaf shapes out of slab and there is coffin inside this is really making me want to make it so the texture maybe cut some fresh clay.
