What type of non toxic, waterproof paint or finish can I use to paint on my ceramics?

I’m making underwater decorations for my aquarium with ceramic but I don’t want the ceramic to dissolve in the water so I want to paint it with a type of protective coating that is non toxic, and water proof..Any ideas?
