What Ceramics pieces can be art alone yet be art with all three together?

i need all the help i can get thank you everyone for your ideas my teachers annoying me and its my final. (ex: a tic tac toe board the circle and the x)
ok it needs to be three separate pieces that go together and still look good alone. the kid made a big X and a big O and a tic tac toe board.
