I have a new ceramic tray to replace a cracked one in my GE Micrwv convection oven- How do I install it?

This ceramic tray is the floor for the oven, and has a rubber strip around the edges. I’m afraid to remove the old cracked tray since it is in 3 large pieces. Is there something important under it that can be damaged if one of the pieces touches it? After removal of the damaged tray, can I just set the new one in place without any extra adhesive or caulking?

    The silicone is there to cut the silicone off as you have to keep spillage and other crap from going under it good luck.
    The silicone off as you have to cut the walls then remove all old pieces of the walls then install new tray get as.
