Mao Z asked:

I tried to drill holes on ceramic tile with tile drill bit (spade shaped). I spend several hours and did get through it. How can I do it? Do diamond or carbide bit work well for this? Thanks.

You will need a diamond tipped drill bit. Since the tile is on the floor or wherever, Sears, Home Depot, Lowe’s carries everything you’d need.

The tile cracking is to make cross with maskingsellotape where you need masonry drill good tip to prevent the drill not wood drill not crack.
