My 2004 Accord had smooth braking until I put on ceramic brake pads last year as recommended by my mechanic. Since then, there has been a terrible grinding and vibration. The rotors, which were new a year ago were recently turned, and the rear shoes were inspected and found to be in good shape. After driving on the ceramics for about 24,000 miles, yesterday, I went back to a new Honda pads. Has anybody else had this experience? Any success with ceramics?

Ceramic pads tend to put on some cars but definitely go with what the car manufacturer says to put on.
