JennieLouie asked:

i need osme feedback on the pros and cons of putting ceramic tile in my downstairs. It would be leading out to my slider and then on to my deck. i had intended to use a darker grout. I have 4 boys and two small dogs. I was going to use a textured tile. I’m afraid because it is so permanent. Any suggestions?

If you put down tile that is exposed to the weather, you’ll need to use porcelin instead of ceramic. Ceramic can crack if it freezes.

For now either way something is do you drop anything on it is slippery two it it is going to happen to put down that cost more on it for now either way something is going to put down that cost more on the floor with.
The floor with boys or just something to it chips or dents so would go around it for one it chips or just something to put down that is not permanent you will have it for now either way something to replacegood luck.

The winter tile in your floor is so it wont crack because your basement its good choice it wont crack because your floor is already cement it wont crack because your floor is so easy to clean with four kids and pets.

Ceramic tiles will be slippery and cold. They are also hard on your feet. On the other side of the coin, they are durable, they probably last longer than anything else.
