We’ve installed glazed ceramic tile in our basement over concrete. We understand that ‘glazed’ tile does not have to be sealed. So, we’ve sealed the grout only. Because we have dogs that sometimes have accidents and that we’ve had a few instances of water seeping in to our basement, we think extra protection for the tile may be a good idea. Can we use tile sealer over glazed ceramic tile? Would it hurt anything? Can it help? Or is it really unnecessary?

For your ceramic glazed in kiln at over 2000 degrees farenheit nothing beats that youll need to do the sealant youve used.
